Larkham waiting on decision

Brumbies backs coach Stephen Larkham has urged the Canberra outfit to make a decision on who will lead the team in the new season.

Backs coach Stephen Larkham wants the Brumbies to make a decision on who will lead the team this season.

The Australian side are without a head coach after Jake White walked out midway through a four-year contract but have said they would hire internally.

But that promotion has still yet to be announced, with Larkham keen for a resolution ahead of the team's second week of pre-season training.

“We're certainly hoping by the end of this week they'll make a decision, it's not necessarily going to be the case, but I think as an organisation the most important thing is that myself and Laurie stay together,” he told The Canberra Times.

“We've got plans for this season already and as you know pre-season's under way and we've had a very positive first week.

“The enthusiasm and energy of the boys has been outstanding.”
