Kriel to lead Golden Lions

Golden Lions head coach Johan Ackermann has announced his team to face the EP Kings in Port Elizabeth, in the opening round of the 2015 Currie Cup competition on Saturday.

The team includes a mix of both youth and experience as Ackermann looks to once again bring young talent through into the senior group this season.

Lock Franco Mostert has been released from the Springbok training camp and has re-joined the Golden Lions ahead of Saturday's game.

Jaco Kriel will captain the side from flanker as last season's finalists kick off their campaign.
