Stormers full-back Cheslin Kolbe is set to leave the financially beleaguered franchise to join Toulouse, according to South African media reports.
A KweseSports report revealed that Kolbe, who was a non-playing member with the Springbok squad for their recent clash against the Barbarians at Wembley Stadium, is close to signing a three-year contract with the Top 14 club which will see him join them after next year's Super Rugby tournament.
According to the report, several other big-name Stormers players have also decided not to sign new deals with the Cape Town-based outfit. Amongst those are: Springbok flanker Nizaam Carr, Scotland centre Huw Jones, utility forward Rynhardt Elstadt, hooker Scarra Ntubeni and prop Oli Kebble.
Earlier this month, the Western Province Rugby Football Union obtained an order for provisional liquidation of their professional arm, Western Province Rugby (Pty) Ltd.
