Springbok tighthead prop Vincent Koch appears set to head abroad after negotiating with Premiership side Saracens.
Koch’s agent Gert-Andries van der Merwe has confirmed that the 26-year-old has been in talks and might make the move before the end of the Currie Cup competition, which is set to play in for the Pumas.
“Vincent met representatives from Saracens and their systems there are very appealing to him,” Van der Merwe told Netwerk24.
“He hasn’t signed yet, but told me that I can inform Western Province that he won’t be staying in the Cape.”
Koch has played two Test for the Springboks and made 17 Super Rugby appearances for the Stormers.
