The Kings have acquired the services of two new players in preparation for the 2016 Super Rugby competition.

Prop Sti Sithole and lock Tjiuee Uanivi are the latest additions to the Kings outfit and will look to make their debuts for the Eastern province franchise during the Kings' warm-up match against the Cheetahs on Friday.

Sithole, 22, was contracted by Western Province and featured in the Stormers' first pre-season warm-up match against SWD Eagles, while the Namibian international Uanivi, who represented Namibia at the World Cup last year, joins the Kings from the Sharks.

The Kings were left with a few injuries following their 22-16 pre-season victory over SWD Eagles last week, with hooker Edgar Marutlulle picking up a blow to the head and prop Jacobie Adriaanse suffering a concussion. Lock Schalk Oelofse is also being monitored with a minor calf strain.
