Kings' Luzuko Vulindlu and JP du Plessis picked up concussion injuries in their 42-20 defeat at the hands of the Hurricanes in Wellington on Saturday.

The winger was replaced by JP du Plessis in the 37th minute and after only 23 minutes it was the replacement Du Plessis that departed the field with the same injury, he was replaced by Elgar Watts.

According to head coach Deon Davids they were being assessed and feedback on their availability will be given in due course.

"We also have a few other niggles following the tour, but the players are being seen to by our medical staff and are being attended to," Davids told reporters.

The Port Elizabeth side host fellow new boys the Sunwolves at the Nelson Mandela Bay Stadium on Saturday as both sides will be hoping to bag their first win of the season.
