England midfielder Jonathan Joseph believes Australia will take a big risk if they move Israel Folau to outside centre for Saturday's Test in Brisbane.
Folau has been the Wallabies' first-choice full-back for the past two seasons but has impressed in midfield for the Waratahs in Super Rugby this year.
This has led to speculation that the former NRL stalwart will wear the Wallabies' number 13 jersey against England.
Joseph doesn't believe Wallabies head coach Michael Cheika will switch Folau to centre but said if he does, the decision could backfire as much as reward Australia.
"Israel's a great player, obviously played the majority of his career at full-back but I've seen he's played a lot of 13 this season," he told AAP.
"Personally I think he'll play full-back.
"We sort of have a rough idea of how they're going to attack us and how they're going to play. We're very focused on what we're about and what we can impose on them."
There's plenty of speculation on the make-up of England's midfield combination with another former NRL player, Ben Teo, a strong candidate to make his Test debut at inside centre.
"His off-loading game's very good and defensively he's very tough," added Joseph.
"He's a great player, great to have in the squad and I'm keen to see what he can offer on the international stage."
