England are sweating over the fitness of Jonathan Joseph as the centre is struggling to overcome a chest injury ahead of Saturday's clash with Wales.
Although the problem is unlikely to rule the player out of the tournament for a significant period of time, Joseph is a doubt for this weekend's pool game.
"JJ has a bit of a knock, nothing too serious and we're working hard to get him fit," England backs coach Andy Farrell said at Tuesday's press conference.
"We'll give JJ every chance to prove his fitness. We'll know if he's fit tomorrow. If he's not, then it's only a week long injury."
Meanwhile, number eight Ben Morgan is struggling with a bang on his knee and missed training on Monday but should be fit to play at Twickenham on Saturday.
