Jones must think we’re fools – Kiyomiya
Katsuyuki Kiyomiya has slammed Japan head coach Eddie Jones over his recent decision to announce he is leaving the job after the World Cup.
Jones confirmed on Tuesday that he would depart the country's top role, with speculation mounting that he'll take over at the Stormers for 2016's season.
Yamaha Jubilo coach Kiyomiya, however, believes Jones has treated Japan's rugby public like "fools" and that his announcement could have been delayed.
"You have to wonder about the timing of the announcement," Kiyomiya, who used to work alongside Jones at Suntory Sungoliath, told Nikkan Sports.
"It's not something you do just before the start of the World Cup.
"It's outrageous for him to be thinking about his next job when he's got the World Cup right in front of him. He must think we're all fools."
