Dragons director of rugby Lyn Jones was left disappointed after his charges went down 22-11 to the high-flying Ospreys at the Liberty Stadium on Sunday.
Jones, whose side were beaten by the boot of Dan Biggar and a first-half try from Tyler Ardron, blamed unforced errors for the PRO12 loss.
“We are disappointed we didn’t win,” he told Wales Online.
“The Ospreys have a simple game plan. It’s about creating pressure on teams and we failed to deal with that.
“Three unforced errors just before half-time led to 10 points and that was the difference at the end of the game.
“We needed to match the Ospreys’ kicking game and we failed to do that. Rhys Webb and Dan Biggar were faultless in their performances again and ran the game effectively and accurately.”
He added: “We’ve come back into the changing room and realised there’s nothing really between those two sides out there apart from a little bit of game management, which the Ospreys are getting right and is not in our culture at the moment.
“But we are not down-hearted. We came down here last year and got tonked. We competed here this time.
“It’s about managing a game and the Ospreys managed it a little better than we did.”
