Ireland and Leinster back row Shane Jennings will retire at the end of the season, he has announced today.
The 33-year-old has made more than 200 appearances for Leinster, helping them to three Heineken Cup titles during that time.
He also spent time with Leicester Tigers during a two-year spell away from Dublin.
At Test level he won 13 caps, scoring his only international try in the last World Cup against Russia.
"It's been on my mind for a while. The decision hasn't been taken lightly," he said.
"I'm very grateful that I've been part of such a great club, such a great team."
"It's been a pleasure to work with Shane. I don't think there's been a bigger contributor to the success of the organisation," added director of rugby Matt O'Connor.
