Cory Jane is the latest winger to give the All Blacks a scare after picking up an ankle injury for the NZ Barbarians on Saturday.
The New Zealand Barbarians were 34-17 winners at Eden Park against the Maori All Blacks.
Jane's withdrawal though was the focal point after the veteran winger suffered a worrying ankle injury when he became trapped in a ruck.
"[I was] trying to go in there and be a forward, which I should never do, and got caught, got folded one way and the ankle didn't come out of the ground," Jane told the NZ Herald.
"Hopefully it's not too bad."
The All Blacks have already lost Waisake Naholo to injury with the winger ruled out of at least the start of the Rugby World Cup after making his debut against Argentina.
