Cardiff Blues head coach Danny Wilson hailed an 'outstanding' performance from man-of-the-match Tom James in their 29-27 win over Scarlets.
James showed great character to bounce back from making an intercept pass that gave the Arms Park visitors an early 14-3 lead in the derby.
He then put in a stunning display of powerful and incisive running as he played a huge part in the come-from-behind win, with head coach Wilson now discussing his possible return to the international scene with Wales.
"I thought Tom was simply outstanding," he told Cardiff Blues' website.
"He showed his character in that game.
"He threw an intercept pass early in the game that would have disappointed him. But he showed what a professional and what a good player he is that he bounced back from that.
"He produced some really good rugby and he's a real attacking threat for us with the ball.
"I would imagine he is providing a headache to the international coaches because he has played like that in several games this season."
