Saracens scrum-half Richard Wigglesworth knows what to expect from Munster ahead of their European Rugby Champions Cup clash on Saturday.
The international number nine, who will hope to put his team-mates in the right areas at Allianz Park, starts ahead of Neil de Kock this weekend.
And while he believes Munster will arrive in England with their usual physical approach, he cannot wait to run out for a vital Champions Cup fixture.
“We’re feeling excited,” said Wigglesworth, speaking to Saracens‘ website.
“It’s a massive game that we all want to be involved in. We’re up against a top quality Munster team and hopefully we can put in a good performance.
“We think that they will come with a similar plan on Saturday. At Thomond Park they were clinical, effective in what they did and brought a lot of physicality to the breakdown. We have to deal with their kicking game and try to impose our game onto them as well, if we get a bit of territory we’ll try and hurt them.”
He added: “You thrive on occasions like this. You have to be excited but this sort of stuff, because this is why you play the game. The games against the best teams, in full stadiums are the clashes you want to play in. It’s great that Allianz Park in sold out and I’m sure it will be rocking on Saturday.”
