Italy head coach Jacques Brunel has recalled three veterans into his squad ahead of Saturday's clash with Wales at Stadio Olimpico in Rome.
Toulon tighthead prop Martin Castrogiovanni (109 caps), Leicester Tigers loosehead prop Michele Rizzo (15 caps) and Zebre centre Gonzalo Garcia (35 caps) have been added to the Azzurri squad.
The Italians will be without prop Matias Aguero and fly-half Tommaso Allan for visit of the Welsh after both were forced off with thigh and rib injuries respectively in the 29-0 rout by France on Sunday.
Meanwhile, Italy skipper Sergio Parisse is hopeful he can recover from a foot injury suffered against France in time for this weekend's clash.
The Stade Français number eight was forced off late with suspected ligament damage in his right foot. But after undergoing tests on Monday, Parisse said his injury was less severe than originally feared.
"Thanks for the messages, injury less serious than first thought. Objective: to recover as soon as possible," Tweeted Parisse.
Centre Luca Morisi has also been cleared to play after taking a head knock.
