Italy head coach Jacques Brunel has included locks George Biagi and Quintin Geldenhuys in his Six Nations squad to face Ireland next weekend.
Brunel has tweaked his 30-man squad for the fourth round encounter after a 36-20 defeat to Scotland last weekend, including Biagi, who is returning from a rib injury, and Geldenhuys, who is making his comeback after an arm injury sidelined him last November.
The Azzuri will will be without lock Josh Furno and fly-half Carlo Canna through injury, while Martin Castrogiovanni is suspended.
The squad will meet in Rome on Sunday and head to Dublin on Thursday, March 10.
