Crusaders captain Kieran Read hailed his team's performance after they beat Super Rugby holders the Chiefs 43-15.
The returning skipper got two tries while further scores were added by Ryan Crotty and Tyler Bleyendaal, with Dan Carter kicking 18 points.
“It was nice,” Read said following the victory.
“We probably set a nice standard at the start of the game and we got a bit of flow on.
“It's a win but we know we have to come back again next week and do it again.”
The Crusaders have another home game next week in the final round of the season, against the Hurricanes, while the Chiefs travel to the Blues knowing one point would secure the conference.
