Saracens loosehead prop Mako Vunipola believes his club has sent a message to the rest of the competition after they thumped Ulster 27-9.
This was a second bonus-point win in a week for the English side as tries came from Chris Wyles, Alex Goode, Duncan Taylor and Billy Vunipola.
Despite two spells of being down a man to a yellow card, Saracens impressed as they look solid in their pool, with Vunipola left happy at full-time.
"It is a big statement. We are very pleased with the bonus point but even more pleased with the performance," he told epcrrugby.com.
"That was a good Ulster side and hopefully that puts us in good stead for the rest of the campaign. Us forwards love days like this, it was a great team effort against a tough pack. We ground them down and we are very pleased.
"We were not comfortable at half-time, we knew we could improve but we came out and put a good performance in and picked up the five points.
"We enjoy the challenge of these atmospheres. We are tight knit as a group, we bring energy to each other, we work hard for each other and we will always take a win like that."
