Sale Sharks have announced that 27-year-old back-row TJ Ioane has signed a new three-year contract with the Premiership club.
The 27-year-old Samoa international is unmistakable with his flowing dreadlocks and has become a fans favourite at the club in a very short space of time.
He has played 24 games for Sale and scored six tries.
Sale Sharks' director of rugby Steve Diamond was understandably delighted that Ioane has signed a long term deal with the club.
"TJ has been a revelation since he joined us," he told the club's official website.
"He is an uncompromising player who gets through a massive workload in every game he plays. He also has an eye for the tryline.
"His performances for Sharks were monitored by other clubs but he wanted to stay with us and help us achieve our goals of becoming one of the leading teams in the Premiership."
