Blue Bulls hooker Jaco Visagie will miss their Currie Cup clash with the EP Kings at Loftus Versfeld in Pretoria on Friday because of an ankle sprain.

Bulls team doctor, Org Strauss, confirmed the news on Monday as Visagie picked up the injury in last weekend's victory over the Sharks in Durban.

He is the only casualty from that match.

Centre Burger Odendaal, who left the field in the second-half, only has a knee contusion and will train again on Tuesday, as will Deon Stegmann, Justin Forwood and Dean Greyling who have minor ailments.

Dan Kriel, who played for the Blue Bulls U21s on Friday, has a hip-pointer injury and will only be back on the field on Thursday.

The long-term injury list remains unchanged.
