The Lions will be without hooker Robbie Coetzee for several weeks after he suffered a hairline tear to his medial cruciate ligament on Saturday.
Coetzee is the only real injury concern for the Johannesburg franchise ahead of their Super Rugby clash against the Reds at Ellis Park.
The in-form hooker sustained the knee injury during their 39-36 triumph over the Blues.
In a boost to their squad, however, Andries Coetzee, Alwyn Hollenbach, Lionel Mapoe and Michael Bondesio have all recovered from their respective injuries and will be ready to return.
