Bordeaux-Bègles will be keeping hold of rising coach Raphaël Ibañez until at least 2019, with the former France star set to sign a new deal.
UBB president Laurent Marti announced on Saturday, after the team's big 46-10 win over Pau, that Ibañez would be staying at the Stade Chaban Delmas for three more seasons.
Ibañez arrived at the club back in 2012, securing Champions Cup rugby last season after winning the play-off match against Gloucester.
The 42-year-old had been linked with becoming the next head coach of France before the appointment of Guy Novès.
Joe Worsley, an old Wasps team-mate of Ibañez who has been assistant coach at the club since 2012, is set to sign a two-year extension.
Japan scrum coach Marc del Maso has been linked with taking over the club's forwards for next season according to Rugbyrama, while scrum-half Yann Lesgourges, who scored a hat-trick against Pau, has signed a two-year contract extension.
