Hurricanes captain Dane Coles said he was surprised to get a bonus-point win against the Crusaders in Christchurch.
The men from Wellington scored five tries to beat the Crusaders convincingly winning 35-10 at AMI Stadium on Saturday.
"I didn't expect to get a bonus point – I am not going to lie … I knew we could perform and get the result, but to get the bonus point was pretty pleasing. The last month of footy for us has been outstanding," Coles told Stuff.
The All Black hooker was still trying to stay down to earth after the win.
"We are not getting too carried away. It's pleasing signs. We have to work hard this week, so looking forward to it," he added.
The Hurricanes will face either the Sharks or the Crusaders at home in the quarter-finals next week.
