Bath back-row Leroy Houston has been named on the bench by Australia ahead of their match with Argentina at Twickenham.

Sefa Naivalu is the casualty for the Wallabies as Michael Cheika trims his replacements down to eight, opting for a 6-2 split.

Cheika spoke highly of Houston's impact when addressing the media on Thursday.

"We've moved on with a few things since he was last in camp but he's adjusted quickly," Cheika explained.

"I have been really pleased with what he has brought so far, and I would like to thank Bath for how they've approched this scenario, there has been really good dialogue and I really respect the approach they have had for their player."
