Glasgow centre Peter Horne has been ruled out for up to six weeks after he sustained a hand injury during last week’s game against Cardiff Blues.

The news is a setback for the Warriors, who face Ulster at home on Friday, as the versatile Scotland international is key squad member.

“Following an X-ray and a subsequent consultation with Mark Broadbent at BMI Ross Hall Hospital, it was revealed that Peter had fractured his hand during the game and is likely to be unavailable for up to six weeks,” read a statement issued by the PRO12 outfit on Thursday.
