Hooper plays down knee concerns

Michael Hooper expects to be fit to face the Sharks in Sydney this week despite picking up a knee injury against the Force on Saturday.

The Wallaby skipper had to come off in the second half of the 18-11 loss to the Perth outfit, as the Waratahs missed the chance to jump to the top of the Australian conference.

Michael Cheika was initially concerned that it could be a major issue, but according to Fox Sports Hooper has told team officials that he expects to fine to train this week and play against the Sharks.

The Tahs currently sit seventh overall in the Super Rugby table, a point behind the Brumbies at the top of the Australian conference.
