Glasgow Warriors flanker Tyrone Holmes sustained an injury to his right knee during last weekend's victory over the Ospreys at Scotstoun.

Following an MRI scan at BMI Ross Hall Hospital and assessment by Mr Colin Walker, it has been confirmed Holmes sustained a medial collateral ligament injury.

He has commenced a period of rehab and is set to be out for the next few months.

"It's a blow to lose Tyrone, but we wish him all the best with his recovery and we hope he'll still be able to play his part this season," said Glasgow Warriors head coach Gregor Townsend.
