Melbourne Rebels utility back Reece Hodge has been called up to the Wallabies squad as a replacement for injured team-mate Mike Harris.
Harris suffered a hamstring injury when he broke through the Western Force defensive line to set up a try for Hodge during Sunday's Super Rugby clash in Melbourne.
“It’s really disappointing that he will miss the (Wallabies) opportunity,” said Rebels head coach Tony McGahan.
“Mike would be bitterly disappointed, no doubt at all as he’s worked hard to get back in this position.
“In the limited time he’s played this year he’s been a big influence on what we’re doing and the Australian selectors saw enough in him.”
