Stade Français have announced that Jaguares and Argentina prop Ramiro Herrera has signed a deal which will keep him at the Top 14 club until 2021.

Herrera has been training with Stade this past week and could be a suprise inclusion in their matchday squad for Sunday's clash with Brive at Stade Amédée Domenech.

"I hope he's ready. He had a long flight and hasn't played for several weeks but international class players adapt quickly," Stade's coach Greg Cooper told AFP.

Herrera, previously played in the Top 14 for Castres from 2013 to 2015.

The 28-year-old, who has represented los Pumas on 37 occasions, arrives at the Parisian outfit to help offset the loss of France international front-row Rabah Slimani who joined Top 14 champions Clermont in the off season.
