El Mago, who is currently without a club after leaving Racing Métro, will partner Saracens star Marcelo Bosch in midfield.

Pumas coach Daniel Hourcade has named a strong side to face the Springboks, with speedster Juan Imhoff of Racing Métro the only major absentee through injury.

Nicolás Sánchez gets the nod at fly-half while Joaquín Tuculet starts at full-back. Manuel Montero offers plenty of speed out on the left wing.

Argentina's back-row is arguably their strongest area however, with the experience of Juan Manuel Leguizamón and former captain Juan Martín Fernández Lobbe combining with promising star Pablo Matera.

Hooker Agustín Creevy will captain the side in the South African capital, with Argentina still searching for a first win in the Rugby Championship.
