Connacht are set to be boosted by the return of Ireland centre Robbie Henshaw for their PRO12 fixture against Treviso in Galway on Friday.

The 22-year-old international back, who impressed in the recent Rugby World Cup, has returned to full training for Pat Lam's in-form team.

John Cooney and Shane Delahunt are also back in training along with Ronan Loughney while Danie Poolman will be monitored ahead of Friday.

Connacht will however be without lock Quinn Roux, who suffered a nasal fracture and was removed from the pitch in the closing stages of Saturday's game against Edinburgh. The South African lock will see a surgeon this week when the length of his absence will become clearer.

Man of the match Tiernan O'Halloran was substituted after 70 minutes on Saturday. He passed all HIA testing but reported a sore jaw post-game. The full-back is available this week.
