Harlequins have announced the signing of Italy scrum-half Tito Tebaldi from the Ospreys for the remainder of the season.
The 27-year-old has played 20 Tests to date, having made his international debut in 2009. He joined the Welsh region from Zebre ahead of the 2013/14 season and has featured 19 times during that period.
Tebaldi will replace Sam Stuart in Harlequins’ squad, who has left the club for personal reasons.
Harlequins Director of Rugby, Conor O’Shea commented: “In the circumstances we are delighted to welcome a player of Tito’s experience, who is looking forward to a fresh start.
“We hope we can provide the right impetus for him to re-launch his career through Harlequins.”
Tebaldi added: “I’m really excited to be joining Harlequins. I can’t wait to play for the Club and I am grateful to have been given this opportunity.
“I’m looking forward to moving to London and continuing my career there.”
