Imanol Harinordoquy will spend the whole 2015/2016 season with Toulouse rather than being used as a medical joker.
The former France number eight's future had been unclear with speculation saying he would only be signed by the club as cover during the Rugby World Cup.
Harinordoquy joined from Biarritz last season with the 35-year-old proving to be a valuable addition to the Toulouse pack, with Rugbyrama confirming his extension.
The club also revealed that Clément Poitrenaud will miss the start of the season as he continues to recover from a broken ankle suffered in March.
Poitrenaud is back in training but will require more time to be fully fit and in contention for selection.
Toulouse unveiled their three kits for the new season on Friday, ahead of the Top 14 opener against Brive on August 22.
