Toulon wing Bryan Habana was forced off the field with a serious hamstring injury in Saturday's match against Exeter.

Making his first appearance in the Heineken Cup since joining the European champions, Habana pulled up whilst on the attack in the 37th minute.

The 30-year-old, who has 95 caps for South Africa, was carried off the field with the help of the Toulon physios.

Habana suffered a similar injury during the Springboks' loss to New Zealand at Ellis Park earlier this year, but the severity of this incident against Exeter.

Toulon later confirmed that the Springbok star is expected to be out for approximately three weeks.
