Saracens defence coach Paul Gustard has showered full-back Alex Goode with praise after his superb performances during the opening rounds of the Champions Cup.
Goode has impressed for the English heavyweights in their two wins over Toulouse and Ulster as they sit top of Pool 1 heading into December.
The international has also surely impressed new England head coach Eddie Jones, with Gustard paying tribute to the 27-year-old's fine form.
"We all know Alex's qualities, he is a tremendous player," said Gustard when speaking to the EPC Rugby website.
"He gives us options when he comes to first receiver, he is a great footballer and distributor and he also has a very good kicking game.
"I think in terms of his kicking game he is among the best in the Premiership and as we saw in Ulster he is a great ball player with outstanding footwork."
Saracens' 27-9 win over Ulster at Kingspan Stadium last Friday was another step in the right direction for the club, who have been excellent so far this season not just in Europe but in the Premiership, where they are also top.
"It was a brilliant performance," added Gustard of the showing at Ulster.
"We are ecstatic with the result and one of our best ever European performances. To score 27 points unanswered at a place which has always been very difficult to play at is an exceptional effort."
