Saracens have announced that Edward Griffiths will leave his position as CEO of the club at the end of the campaign to pursue new opportunities.

Griffiths has enjoyed seven successful years at the Premiership side, with chairman of Saracens, Nigel Wray, extending his best wishes to the CEO.

"After seven years as CEO Edward is moving on. He has created and leaves an outstanding and beautiful new permanent home for Saracens, and a team of people with a real caring and community focus and we will build upon this legacy," said Wray in a statement released on the club website on Friday.

"Edward will forever be a Saracen and always welcome amongst his friends at Allianz Park."
