Grenoble have announced that Fijian wing and frequent try-scorer Alipate Ratini has been released from his contract because of poor behaviour.

The news broke on Wednesday when the Top 14 outfit released a statement on their official website revealing that the player is no longer employed by them.

"Multiple failures, damaging the interests and image of the club, make impossible the continuation of his contract," read the club's press release.

"For several months, FGC tried to help Ratini regain an attitude in line with the requirements for the practice of a professional sport … without success."

Grenoble finished last season in eleventh position with wing Ratini crossing ten times, which meant he ended the Top 14 campaign joint third on the try chart.
