Scotland second-row Richie Gray has been ruled out of the remainder of the Six Nations after he suffered an upper arm injury against Wales.

The Castres forward was scanned at Spire Murrayfield Hospital on Monday, with the results confirming the worst for Scotland and the player.

Gray will miss the games against Italy, England and Ireland, joining prop Jon Welsh on the treatment table after he was ruled out on Monday.

Glasgow Warriors second-row has been added to the squad.
