France’s Burban out of Six Nations

France have called up uncapped Kevin Gourdon to their Six Nations squad following an injury to Antoine Burban.

Gourdon will be be joining Guy Novès' 30-man training squad as they prepare for their match against Scotland.

The FFR released a statement on Monday addressing Burban's injury, saying: "Due to a trauma suffered this weekend and after a test requested by France and club (Stade Français) medical staff, the club neurologist ordered a two-week period of rest."


Burban's last appearance for les Bleus was against Wales in Cardiff.

The loose forward will miss this week's Six Nations match against Scotland at Murrayfield and the following week when France host England in Paris.
