Loann Goujon has calmed fears over his fitness after he injured his knee in a motorbike accident earlier this month.

The French international is part of the 36-man preliminary squad named by Philippe Saint-André for the World Cup but was involved in a motorbike accident two weeks ago.

He injured his knee in the crash and according to initial reports was set to be out for 4-6 weeks, which would have seen him miss the start of France's warm-up camp.

However Goujon explained to Sud Ouest that he should be able to take a full part in the training camp which starts on July 5.

"It's nothing too serious," he said.

"I think it should be sorted within two weeks. I hope to be ready for July 5."
