Saracens full-back Alex Goode was happy to see the side hit their objective of securing a try bonus-point win against Oyonnax.
The Top 14 outfit have struggled domestically and in Europe so far this season, giving Saracens a huge opportunity to secure valuable table points in Pool 1.
Goode was one of six try scorers for Saracens as they wrapped up a 45-10 win at the Stade Charles Mathon – yet another victory as they remain unbeaten this season.
"The priority was always to get the bonus point and we did it, there were bits we were disappointed with, particularly a lack of discipline in the first half. But we came through it well and we are very happy with the result," Goode told the EPC Rugby website.
"I would not say we have necessarily changed a lot in terms of our attack, but certainly today the offloading from the forwards was excellent as was the distribution from 10 and midfield.
"We are really coming alive when we get the ball in good positions at the moment, we are using our strike runners very well, we are getting them in the game and we are picking them out.
"Guys like Chris Ashton are doing brilliantly in terms of the support lines they are running. We have had a young team over the last few years and we have grown together and added layers to our game.
"We have been close in this tournament before, we have our foundations, we are in a good place but we know there is a long journey ahead yet."
