Gloucester flanker Ross Moriarty has been cited after a complaint was made to the EPCR following their Challenge Cup final against Edinburgh.

Moriarty is alleged to have struck Edinburgh replacement Fraser McKenzie with his knee in the 54th minute of last Friday's fixture at the Twickenham Stoop.

The complaint was made by the Citing Commissioner, Yves Thieffine (France).

Mark McParland (Ireland) has been appointed as the independent Judicial Officer for the hearing which will take place in Dublin on Thursday, May 7.
