Matt Giteau and Sean McMahon helped Suntory Sungoliath win the Top League on Saturday, defeating Panasonic Wild Knights 12-8.
The low-scoring final saw Giteau and McMahon come out on top against a Wild Knights line-up that included David Pocock and Berrick Barnes.
Back-row Pocock and playmaker Barnes suffered injuries in the game and there is concern for the former, who sustained a blow to the head.
Wallaby Pocock is set to return to Super Rugby action at the Brumbies this season following his sabbatical so the injury will worry the franchise.
Ryoto Nakamura and Shota Emi crossed for Suntory, with star Giteau converting one of those tries at Prince Chichibu Memorial Rugby Ground.
Very happy to finish this amazing season with this fantastic club on a high.. #TopLeagueChampions
