Matt Giteau’s hamstring issues appear set to sideline the influential Toulon back once more, according to reports in France.
The former Australia star has battled with a hamstring problem all season, with surgery appearing to be the only option.
Giteau missed about two months earlier this season before returning at the beginning of January, but the issue has not disappeared.
The 32-year-old allegedly could be out for another month and a half.
Even with their numerous options at fly-half and inside centre, losing Giteau would be a major setback for Toulon as they chase the knockout stages in Europe.
