New Zealand prop Ben Franks is set for a move to London Irish after this year’s World Cup according to reports.
The Hurricanes loosehead has won 41 caps for New Zealand since making his debut in 2010, and was part of the World Cup-winning All Black squad in 2011.
However it seems he will call time on his international career after this year’s tournament in England, with the Exiles looking to bring him in as they try to rebuild under a new coach.
Former Crusaders prop Franks moved to the Hurricanes in 2013 after seven years in Christchurch.
He was part of the All Blacks squad for last November’s European tour, with his last appearance coming off the bench in the win over Scotland.
His brother Owen is first choice tighthead with the All Blacks and the Crusaders.
