After edging out Scotland 19-17 at Murrayfield on Saturday, France have risen to fifth in the IRB Rankings, overtaking Ireland.

Les Bleus' victory means they are still in the hunt for the Six Nations title ahead of their clash with the table-topping Irish this Saturday.

Ireland dropped from fifth to sixth despite their 47-7 win over Italy, while Wales also move down on the Rankings to seventh spot.

Scotland are clinging on to tenth, but Italy are well outside the top-ten in fourteenth. England remain in fourth place behind the SANZAR big three.
