France have announced new Sevens deals for eight of their players in a boost to their squad ahead of the upcoming Olympic Games in Brazil.
The Games kick off in two weeks but the French have decided to move to secure these eight players whilst also adding three new faces.
Virimi Vakatawa, Jonathan Laugel, Jean-Baptiste Mazoue, Stephen Parez-Edo and Pierre-Gilles Lakafia have inked extensions until 2018.
Jérémy Aicardi, Vincent Inigo and Julien Candelon are tied to new contracts until 2017 as the team looks to continue its recent good form.
Meanwhile, the FFR has revealed that Jean-Pascal Barraque, Anastase Leote and Kelegh Faousy Moutome will join the squad for 2016/17.
