Racing 92 centre Alexandre Dumoulin has signed a three-year contract to join Top 14 rivals Montpellier.
The 26-year-old made his debut for France last year against Fiji and has won eight caps to date, with five starts, the last being against New Zealand in the 2015 Rugby World Cup quarter-final.
Dumoulin joined Racing back in 2011 from Bourgoin and has opted to move on with his contract expiring at the end of the season.
The 189cm, 98kg centre will add plenty of power to Montpellier's midfield having left Racing despite the club's owner Jacky Lorenzetti doing his best to keep him.
"This is a purely sporting choice and a lifestyle choice. I was excited about the project that [Montpellier president] Mohad Altrad presented to me," Dumoulin told L'Equipe.
"I will be 100 percent committed to Racing until the end of the season and will remain until the end of my career very grateful to the club and Jacky Lorenzetti for the confidence they have put in me."
