Fractured arm for Fruean

A tough outing for the Crusaders in Hamilton has been topped off by the news that back Robbie Fruean fractured his right arm.

Fruean was withdrawn the first half of Saturday's 16-40 defeat to the Chiefs at Waikato Stadium.

An x-ray later confirmed the news for the uncapped New Zealand player and Fruean will now see a specialist on Monday to confirm the next course of action and for how long he will be sidelined.

Fruean was playing against the Chiefs for the first first time since he was released at the end of last year to accomodate the return of Sonny Bill WIlliams, having made just four appearances in 2014.
