England fly-half George Ford is set to rejoin Leicester Tigers on a three-year deal from rivals Bath, according to a report in The Times.
Ford, who starts for his country against France in their Six Nations opener at Twickenham, has been the subject of a switch for some time.
News of his eagerness to leave followed soon after his father, Mike, was dismissed by Bath following a poor run of form in the Premiership.
Sale had been linked with the fly-half but according to The Times, the 23-year-old has agreed a £450,000 a season contract at Welford Road.
Subsequently, Leicester Tigers fly-half Freddie Burns is set to switch to Bath as he is not keen to be a back-up to the England international.
